Such a sad store to go into these days. Carpets are worn down in large areas through to the flooring underneath, cables are duct taped to the ground to prevent trip hazards. Change rooms are extremely worn and unclean, and the pay points are confusing. Taking an online item back the other day, I was sent to five different areas before finding someone who could help. Terrible shame as the shopping centre is an outstanding facility, unfortunately David Jones just didn’t keep up.

Assistant and manager are very approachable and friendly with great Service, the stock is very limited. The leather products are amazing and we'll priced.

Staff is very friendly, but offering is poor. I am surprised, for years now, that this shop wasn’t closed yet.Compared to Mayer full of life stores this David Jones store have a feel of socialism store from the eighties.

Some products can be a bit pricey if you're on a budget but I find they usually have sales on and have always bought my handbags from here. Friendly and helpful staff

Girls were super helpful when I was looking for a gift. Put me under no pressure, but ensured I was looked after.

I am a regular shopper at strandbsgs. I buy a lot of Guess Items and many more. I was at the Albany Strandbags outlet yesterday and picked up a bag worth $49.99. The sales lady says I had loyalty and whether I want to use it. I asked her how much is my loyalty amount and she said it’s above $50 but not sure as the system doesn’t show it. I believed her and bought the bag which costed $49.99. However, something in me didn’t feel right. My mind kept telling how come she didn’t know the exact amount if she could tell me that the loyalty amount was more than $50. She also didn’t tell me whether the gift voucher would expire or not.Only later I found out the total value of the loyalty and also expiry date. Guess what ? The total loyalty value I had was $95 and it would expire on the same day. Why didn’t she inform me correctly?This is definitely not the right behaviour and attitude of a sales person. I hope the management sees this and take appropriate action so that she doesn’t repeat the sane thing with other loyalCustomers.Served by :VD2018 at 04:38pm on 16/03/2022 and Ronnie is her name.Next day I went back to the shop to seek explanation and she was even more rude. I asked for the manager and she turned out be one. How could someone in her position act in such a rude manner to a customer and that also a very loyal one. In fact she said she didn’t care even if I made a complaint. I will never ever step into that shop again.

I was served by the lovely Taylah today. She was very helpful. Good service from a lovely young lady who obviously enjoys her job.
